Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 4, 2026
This explains what Unlabbed (unlabbed.com) collects and why. We don't sell your information. Questions or requests: corporate@thestrongautomation.com.
Photos you scan
Each photo is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to read the label, and the result comes back to you. We don't keep your photos, unless you send a mistake report, which includes a small copy of that photo.
What we keep
- An anonymous record of each scan result: the product name, the result, and the words, brand or origin found. It doesn't include your photo, your IP address or anything that identifies you.
- A random id for your phone, made by the app, to count free scans and referral rewards. It isn't linked to your name.
- Your internet address (IP), briefly, to stop abuse of free scans (kept up to 30 days).
- If you sign in: your email address and your subscription status (plan, active or not, renewal date).
- Mistake reports you choose to send, including any email you add so we can reply.
Your scan history, watch list and settings are stored only on your phone, not on our servers.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's own page. We never see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment details you give them.
Services we use
- Anthropic: reads label photos
- Stripe: payments
- Supabase: sign-in and subscription records
- Resend: sends sign-in code emails, and tells us when a mistake report comes in
- Vercel: hosts the app; Vercel Web Analytics counts anonymous page views without cookies
- Upstash: counts scans
Your choices
You can clear the app's data on your phone at any time. To delete your account and the email we hold, email corporate@thestrongautomation.com from that address. Records Stripe must keep for tax and legal reasons stay with Stripe.
Children
Unlabbed isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and email subscribers about significant changes.
